Fernando Ferrer wins the primaries with 40.5% of votes

[via NY1: Top Stories]:

Reports Monday say Ferrer, the former Bronx borough president, won 40.05 of the votes in last week%u2019s Democratic primary. The Board of Elections is expected to make the official announcement later today, although the results won't be certified until Tuesday.

OK Ferrer naysayers, what's your new excuse going to be?
