Quinnipiac: Final poll
Quinnipiac University's polling institute released their final pre-Super Tuesday poll for the tri-state this morning, showing two sharply divergent races for the two parties. On the republican side, John McCain is solidifying his lead over Mittens Romney, while on the side of the angels the race has shifted dramatically from a month ago.
New York
Clinton 53, Obama 39
McCain 54, Romney 22
New Jersey
Clinton 48, Obama 43
McCain 52, Romney 30
National polls show the race in a dead heat for Democrats and solidifying around a frontrunner McCain for Republicans. The divergence between the two parties is striking; while republicans have, as is their wont, ratified the choice of the party establishment in McCain - it is, after all, his turn to run - Democrats are in open rebellion against our party's pre-ordained choice of Senator Clinton.
City polling places are open from 5 AM to 9 PM tomorrow; to find your polling place, please go here.

Don't go at 5:00 a.m.
The polls don't open until 6:00 a.m., so you'd be standing out in the cold for an hour.
Get out and vote!
The contentious nature of the Democratic primary aside, look at the turnout numbers thus far - Democrats have come out to vote in record numbers, something we can all be proud of!
One quick last note - if you get to the polls today and hear "you're not in the book," you can still vote by provisional ballot - be sure to request one. The Board of Elections will then check your registration status downtown.
And if you want to unofficially check your registration status, go to www.votersearch.org
Happy voting!
