Correct. Part of the problem is that simpering rubber stamps - like Rep. Kelly - have not given this administration any reason to take them seriously as a co-equal branch of government. Yes, bootlickery will do that for you.
I believe that the skepticism the administration afforded this Congress, perhaps properly,
"Perhaps properly". There's Simperin' Sue covering all her bases; the barking fringe might not take too kindly to suggestions that Bush did anything wrong.
