is all I could think of, after hearing Remnick's defense. Has he ever done politics on Planet Earth, where not every voter has a grad-school degree? For every person who understands what this illustration means, there will be ten who believe what Fox tells them about it.
I wish I could be accused of condescension for saying that, but 39% of American voters believe that Obama attended a madrassa already, with no help from the oh-so-ironic New Yorker. The impressive thing is, he's still winning in spite of that.
