Are you ready for the march?

The March starts on 22nd and Broadway at 10:30AM and goes all the way down to Foley Square where there will be a festival until 6PM.

[via United for Peace: april29.org]:

A Massive, Vibrant, Powerful Call for Change:
It should be magnificent: sunny skies, pleasant temperatures (low 60s), and a massive crowd this Saturday at the March for Peace, Justice and Democracy in New York City.

April 29 will be a powerful opportunity to raise our voices in favor of immediate withdrawal from Iraq -- and the first real opportunity to come together in large numbers to say no to war on Iran.

Use the comments to let us know if you're going. We're definitely more than happy to publish your reports, video, audio and/or photographic documentation.

Brunch first, march later

I am planning on meeting friends for lower east side brunch, then marching with them from Tompkins Square Park at 11 to Union Square. See you there, then. How do we upload photos here?

You can do two things :

(1) use the upload/attachment form that is at the bottom of the blog post form. Make sure you hit the upload button before you hit the post button.

(2) use our account at Flickr. Make sure you sign-in throght the Flickr form, NOT the Yahoo! form :

user email: admin@dailygotham.com
password : g0tham

Once you upload the pics, you can use the code Flickr gives you to paste on a blog post.

And yes, don't worry, I will be changing the password again.

On another note, now that we are on a faster server, I will be upgrading the site to the newest version of Drupal. Regular contributors will only be going to the front page. Y'all also have your own image galleries, petition creating modules and other activist and editorial goodies at your disposal.

I'll try to catch y'all somewhere around Union Square.
