This came out of my frustration with, especially, Fernando Ferrer's Amadou Diallo fiasco. I will be posting about not just Ferrer, but the inability of politicians to articulate their opinions for the sake of politics. For now, this is one of two articles I am reposting for the site's historical records.

The race for the Democratic nomination for NYC Mayor is a mess. I am thisclose of just throwing the towel and endorsing Bloomberg.

Liveblogging from THE TANK : Alliance for Quality Education with State Senator Eric Schneiderman and Cynthia Nixon
Hey everybody,
As busy as I am, I am taking time to liveblog the DFNYC/AQE party at *The Tank*. This is one of the things we need to do more with local politics : Cover what the local newspapers and broadcast stations do not cover due to either lack of staff or interest.
So here's some ground rules for live-blogging: there are no rules.
I am not a journalist nor do I want to play one. For the sake of accuracy, I will be podcasting the speeches. But the blogging itself, well, that will be the running commentary. This is my mind on blogging, sort of speak

I am off to taking my kids to their yearly check up. There is no WiFi access at the MDs office, so I will be offline for about 4 hours. Don't let that deter you from opening up shop while I am gone.
