Today, we are only two seats away from gaining a Democratic majority in the New York State Senate. This will end the stagnation caused by four decades of Republican domination including the Republican gerrymandering which has prevented us from turning more of New York's congressional seats blue.

Jimmy Dahroug is running for State Senate in Long Island's District 3 and has been endorsed by Democracy for America and Democracy for NYC. Jimmy's campaign was one of the two races statewide that came closest to flipping Republican to Democrat in the last election cycle. It's one the most vulnerable seats the Republicans hold – therefore, this is a must-win seat! This year, victory is close at hand, but we need your help.
