Want some idea of Vito Fossella's so-called values? This gentleman, who is suspected of corruption, has repeatedly voted AGAINST helping Americans or honoring our heroes. Here are some recent examples:
Vito Fossella voted NO to help provide affordable housing to low-income Americans still affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Vito Fossella voted AGAINST help for American senior citizens (PDF) eight times out of nine (with one no vote) in 2006!
Vito Fossella voted AGAINST a minimum wage increase every chance he could.
Vito Fossella also voted AGAINST cracking down on the oil and gas industries price gouging, voted AGAINST giving healthcare to American military Reservists and National Guard members, and voted to CUT student aid by $12.7 billion.

The only thing seniors, vets, students and workers can do for Vito is vote for him and when he takes their small donations he uses them for vacations with his family. The corporations, drug companies, oil companies, etc can fill his pockets and and those of his Republican Party. As a loyal Bush lap dog, he'd rather not do anything for the masses, after all he only goes to them when he's up for reelection and before that he couldn't care less about them.
Minimum Wage
Great post. To expand on the minimum wage discussion, Vito Fossella has voted against a minimum wage increase six times since he has been in Congress. He even voted against H.R. 2429 in 2005, which was the EXACT same bill he voted for this year (with exception of the date).
