As of the January filing, Squadron had raised over $200K and had nearly $189K cash on hand. I wonder how much he spent hiring people to gather signatures? It should also be noted that in 2006 both incumbent John Sabini and challenger Hiram Monserrate submitted over 10,000 signatures for the 13th Senate district. By that standard, 8,000 is good but not spectacular -- especially since the vote was 6,336 to 6,094.
