Trina Solar Signs Contract with GT Solar
**
Trina Solar Limited, a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules, founded in 1997, today announced that it has signed an agreement with GT Solar Incorporated ("GT Solar") to purchase primary converter and reactor systems for its planned polysilicon production project for a total consideration of approximately US$49 million, with purchase price to be paid in installments over an approximate period of 12 to 18 months. The execution of this agreement is subject to final approval by the Boards of both companies. "We are very excited to further our partnership with GT Solar, who will provide us a world class platform which is expected to extend our technology, brand and cost advantages to include silicon feedstock under our vertically integrated manufacturing model," said Jifan Gao, Trina Solar's Chairman and CEO. "We believe GT Solar's advanced technology will help Trina Solar to reduce cost in the long run in connection with our polysilicon production."
Dressing the Bouquet
*
The stems of a bouquet can be literally overshadowed by the flowers above, but they should be just as beautiful as the blooms. Much as you choose the right shoe for a dress or the right tie for a suit, give careful consideration to the stems. Whether a bride walks down the aisle with an elaborate bundle of peonies or outfits herself and her bridesmaids with modern sheaths of calla lilies, a thoughtful treatment of a bouquet's handle or stems will complete the look.
Pear Necklaces
Although we find variety of jewelry items made from pearls, the most popular are perhaps the pearl necklaces. Depending on their lengths and designs they have been given unique names. Mostly, we find that length is the only consideration when we refer to necklaces but in the case of pearls it is not so. Pearl necklaces are not defined merely by their physical measurement; rather strings of pearls have their own set of names that characterize the pearls based on where they hang when worn around the neck. Popular types of pearl necklaces and their names are: A collar will sit directly against the throat and not hang down the neck at all; they are often made up of multiple strands of pearls. Pearl chokers nestle just at the base of the neck. They are universal in their appeal. It suits almost any dress and any neckline. Pearl chokers are a must-have item on every woman’s list who loves to wear jewelry. The size called a princess comes down to or just below the collarbone. This is also an all time favorite. The size, shape and color of the pearls can define its use either as casual wear or for a special occasion.

BRONX COUNTY GOP - THE HEAT IS ON!!
*****
And yet another story on Bronx County GOP: http://www.nypost.com/seven/02032008/news/regionalnews/da_probes_downtown_bronx_pol_752362.htm DA PROBES DOWNTOWN 'BRONX' POL By BRUCE GOLDING February 3, 2008 -- Prosecutors are investigating a Bronx politician after The Post revealed he's been living for years in lower Manhattan in apparent violation of state law. The Post has also learned that election officials knew almost a decade ago that GOP district leader Fred Brown lived outside The Bronx, but ignored the information. A November 1999 letter to the city Board of Elections said Brown "has not lived in this district or borough for many years" and was using a phony address to run for district leader. A spokeswoman said the board could not act on the complaint because it was made anonymously, and state law requires a signed affidavit to challenge a voter's registration. The Bronx DA's Office is investigating whether Brown, 72, filed false documents to register and vote in The Bronx, a spokesman said. That crime is a felony punishable by up to four years in prison.

BRONX COUNTY GOP - ANOTHER NEWS ARTICLE!!
*****
There is yet another news article in yesterday's 1/29/07 Village Voice newspaper on Jay Savino and Fred Brown. http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0805,barrett,78995,6.html Fred Brown, a Bronx delegate for Giuliani and former school-board member, was convicted of using the school district's printing press to produce a 100-page political journal in the '80s. Asked by the Voice about the 13 liens and judgments against him totaling more than $100,430—including three from the IRS for $32,986—Brown said he didn't know what they were about, adding that he was scheduled "to meet with the IRS in February." Brown conceded that he lives at 355 South End Avenue in Battery Park City, even though he is running as a delegate from the address he's registered at in the Bronx. "My [previous] apartment at 375 South End was destroyed on 9/11," he explained.

NEW YORK CITY DEPUTY MAYOR AND JOSEPH J. SAVINO
*****
New York City Deputy Mayor Kevin Sheekey had a meeting with Bronx County GOP Leader Joseph J. Savino on January 27, 2006. This meeting occurred while Kevin Sheekey was on city payroll time as listed on his schedule that was just FOILed by members of the press. The purpose of this meeting was for Mr. Savino to get the endorsement of Mayor Bloomberg for Mr. Savino to run later in 2006 for the state senate seat in the 34th district against incumbent State Senator Jeff Klein in which Savino lost in. A New York City employee cannot do any sort of political campaigning on city payroll time. Mr. Savino did get the endorsement from Mayor Bloomberg. Mr. Savino is also currently the target of a criminal probe being conducted by the New York City Department of Investigation. Some of Joseph J. Savino’s close friends and political associates are also being investigated for political campaigning on city payroll time. Inside sources have told me that Mr. Savino has confirmed that he did have a meeting with NYC Deputy Mayor Kevin Sheekey on January 27, 2006 at City Hall to discuss the political endorsement of Mayor Bloomberg for Mr.

BRONX POLITICS - PLAN, PLOT AND DEFEAT YOURSELF
*****
On a warm summer day in July 2007. Jose Rivera (Bronx Democratic Chairman) and Joseph J. Savino (Bronx GOPee Leader) met for lunch at the Seashore restaurant on City Island in the Bronx. J.C. Polanco was also there. Over the course of this lunch the planning and plotting was being conspired on, since that John Ravitz was resigning as the executive director of the New York City Board of Elections in October 2007. So at this lunch Jay Savino told Jose that he will not run for the senate seat anymore, like he was really any threat and also that J.C. Polanco would not run against Jose’s daughter Naomi Rivera for her assembly seat, oh please. So with that in mind Jose agreed to make J.C. Polanco the commissioner at the Board of Elections for the representation of the Bronx republicans. And also Jay and J.C. needed Jose Rivera’s influence over Christine Quinn, speaker the New York City Council, because the past four applicants (including Savino himself) for the commissioner’s job were all turned down by Christine Quinn and the rest of city council.

MAYOR MIKE AND BOSS TWEED

In your State of the City speech that you made this past week. You said that you are going to reform the New York City Board of Elections. Click on hyperlink: http://www.nyc.gov/portal/site/nycgov/menuitem.c0935b9a57bb4ef3daf2f1c701c789a0/index.jsp?pageID=mayor_press_release&catID=1194&doc_name=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nyc.gov%2Fhtml%2Fom%2Fhtml%2F2008a%2Fpr018-08.html&cc=unused1978&rc=1194&ndi=1 You mentioned in the State of the City speech that 2008 is the 130th anniversary of the death of Boss Tweed. Let's also make it the year we finally put to rest his style of politics. So Mayor Bloomberg click on this hyper link and read this article: http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0624,robbins,73514,5.html My question to you is when is this going to happen. At this point my advice to you, Mayor Bloomberg is “ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS” You have been talking about this since 2004. Certain employees at the Board of Elections are abusing the integrity of our electoral process. Click on hyperlink: http://www.nycivic.org/MediaArchive/BloombergSpeech041110.html

BRONX COUNTY GOP - JUST ANOTHER DEFEAT
*****
Congratulations are in order for Marcus Cederqvist from Manhattan GOP, who was just appointed the executive director of the New York City Board of Elections by a landslide vote today. In a second vote today for the position of general counsel for the Republican commissioners. Jay Savino lost the vote by 6-4. 3 out of the 5 NYC GOP political clubs that he is in charge of as vice chairman of the NYS Republican committee voted against him not getting this position. Plus Jay Savino is not a resident of the Bronx, he is a resident of Rockland County, and he has to be a resident of NYC to be an employee to work at the Board of Elections. What excuse did Jay Savino use this time??> He stated that he is separated from his wife. As many of you remember when he ran in the 2006 34th state senate campaign, he was saying that he was a lifelong resident of the 34th state senate district, but he was not, so the excuse he used then was that his wife had pregnancy problems so that is why he had to move his wife to her mothers house in Rockland County. Now Mr.
